I’ve decided I want to explore Mario’s menu a bit more. So, today I went with their meatball sandwich. It was pretty standard, meatballs, mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce. The meatballs were pretty big, super tender, and rich. The sauce was a little sweet and tasted fresh and if it’s the same sauce they use for their pizza, I need to try their pizza. The cheese was good but it was mostly at the top and didn’t incorporate with the entire sandwich. It was really messy, something you wouldn’t want to get for lunch before a meeting. While not the worst sandwich I have had from Mario’s, I would only recommend it if you were in the mood for a meatball sub.
